About the Iron Revolution:

If you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes, how strong you can be, it just won’t happen in a commercial gym. It is impossible to achieve the level of greatness you desire when there are a dozen people next to you riding exercise bikes and watching TV, listlessly pursuing an average level of fitness. This greatness can only happen when you are surrounded by a like-minded team who you can trust with your life, who want you to succeed just as much as you do, at the highest level possible.

The Iron Revolution is run by Mike Zawilinski, NSCA-CPT, CSCS, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Powerlifting Coach at Northeastern University in Boston. Under Mike’s guidance, several athletes have reached the highest levels of their sport. The Powerlifting Team though small in numbers, has become a national contender with multiple National Champions and All-Americans who have scattered Northeastern all throughout the collegiate and junior record books. The club meets on (days and times to be anounced) inside the Baystate athletic club annex, 28 New Driftway, Scituate, Massachusetts 02066.

The Iron Revolution is a group of drug-free powerlifters who compete locally, nationally and internationally in the squat, bench and deadlift.

The team follows a sophisticated approach to training that includes methods derived from Louie Simmons and Westside Barbell, Mark Bell and Team Super Training, Alexander Prilepin of the Soviet Union, and many more of today’s greatest minds and lifters. We have lifters of many different strength levels and knowledge. Being strong is not enough to get you in the group. You have to want to get better day in and day out. As a team, we all push each other above and beyond what could ever be achieved on our own.
